Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands on health care discipline that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system. Chiropractors are primary contact healthcare professionals trained to assess, diagnose and treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Our Chiropractic Doctors have a holistic approach to wellness, meaning they not only look for the underlying cause of your symptoms, but also locate any disruptions or disturbances in the body that interfere with the nervous system and restrict normal function. Chiropractic interventions are then applied to help optimize conditions for normal function to be restored. These interventions include, but are not limited to, chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy and lifestyle modifications.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
It is a procedure used to apply a controlled but quick (high velocity, low amplitude) thrust to a joint. The goal of the adjustment is to correct the alignment, create movement, and improve the body’s function by optimizing joint health, vessel and nerve function, and communication with the brain. A “popping” noise, known as a “cavitation”, may or may not accompany the adjustment and is not an indication of a successful adjustment, rather it is a possible benign side effect of the technique. Although the sound may be loud and scary to hear it is simply the release of gaseous elements from a tight fluid filled joint and is not harmful in any way.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is holistic in nature in that it views the body as a total interconnected unit. Osteopathic manual therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment that focuses on removing restrictions and the restoration of movement and function to the entire body in order to restore the body’s natural balance, optimal function, and healing ability.
Osteopathic manual practitioners have a deep understanding of the anatomical and physiological interrelationships of the body, with a goal of restoring proper movement and function to the whole body.
Osteopathic Manual therapy requires a highly refined sense of touch to identify and treat areas of dysfunction that have alterations in tissue texture and tone that may disrupt the overall physiological function and health of the person. Typically, priority in treatment is given to areas of greatest rigidity. The goal of treatment is to facilitate corrections and a full expression of health by working in conjunction with the natural self-regulation and self-healing mechanism of the body. Osteopathy considers the whole person with treatment individualized to determine the underlying cause of the health concern; not just focusing on symptoms.

Each individual is unique so no treatment or techniques is the same as it depends what is appropriate and available for you that day based on assessment findings. Do I need a doctor’s referral before booking an appointment?
No you do not need to get a referral from a doctor to book an appointment. An exception is if your insurance plan requires it.

My professional designation as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner is D.O.M.P. What is Vitamin IV Therapy?
Vitamin IV Therapy safely delivers key vitamins and essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream intravenously. In bypassing the digestive system, a much higher level of nutrition is delivered directly to your cells.
Why choose Vitamin IV Therapy over diet and supplementation?
Although there is no disputing a healthy diet is extremely important, many people don’t absorb vitamins very well through their digestive system. Much of what you take orally may not find its way into your bloodstream, particularly if you have digestive troubles. IV therapy ensures that nutrients are directly absorbed into the system.
What nutrients are used in Vitamin IV Therapy?

Is Vitamin IV therapy safe?
Side effects and complications are rare. Most people tolerate Vitamin IV therapy very well and have no trouble during or after the treatment. The Naturopathic Doctors at Lemon Water Wellness will be sure to walk you through any possible risks according to your formula provided and have extensive training in proper management should anything occur. There may be some irritation, but for most people it’s surprisingly comfortable and relaxing as you can read or use a tablet while the treatment is taking place.
How long does a Vitamin IV treatment take?
A treatment can take anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes depending on the condition, individual and nutrients used.
How often are Vitamin IV treatments required?
This ranges depending on the condition being treated. Typically, individuals will benefit the most by receiving 1 treatment per week for 4-6 consecutive weeks. Following the initial protocol, based on their response rate, your ND will determine a maintenance regime or how to proceed further for effective care.
Are there any side-effects of Vitamin IVs?
Dehydration causes the most post IV symptoms and concerns. So be sure to hydrate before, during and after your treatment to avoid this possibility. Symptoms associated with dehydration include: headache, dizziness, dry mouth, and possible joint stiffness.
Does Vitamin IV Therapy hurt?
There will be a mild uncomfortable prick with needle insertion which lasts for less than 1 second. Some individuals will apply a topical anesthetic which they can purchase over-the-counter from any drugstore called EMLA cream which eliminates this sensation for improved comfort if this is irritating. Simply apply this 20 minutes prior to treatment and you will be good to go!
How do I book a Vitamin IV therapy?
If you are not a current patient of Lemon Water Wellness, you will need to schedule a Vitamin IV initial appointment that lasts between 15-30 minutes with a Naturopathic Doctor from the team. They will complete a safety physical assessment and review your chief health concerns in order to assess which formula is best suited for your care.
To schedule a Vitamin IV treatment, we require 4 business days in advance in order to create your customized formula and receive it from an official compounding pharmacy to our clinic where we will be able to administer it as a therapy.

A Certified Athletic Therapist is a health professional who specializes in care and prevention of injuries of those who engage in an active lifestyle.
Athletic Therapist’s are trained in the assessment, prevention, immediate care and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and athletic injuries. Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture is used to balance the flow of Qi through the body. In Western Medicine, acupuncture is used to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. It is used to treat pain, fertility issues, mental health, detoxification, energy and sleep issues and many more health concerns.
Facial Rejuvenation
This is an is an extension of traditional acupuncture and it involves the insertion of fine needles in the face to create positive micro traumas that stimulate the body’s healing abilities, promote blood flow/oxygenation, and enhance collagen production to help reduce wrinkles, scars, fine lines, dark circles, and help the skin obtain a brighter and overall healthier appearance.
